For the Customer
Due to the sensitive nature of surplus military hardware and stringent ITAR regulations, all too often foreign militaries end up with obsolete surplus inventories with no practical means of disposing of them other than their complete destruction. Merex offers a legal, ITAR compliant and orderly process to dispose of this excess material. We purchase the excess inventories from the armed forces and in exchange, offer credit toward the customers’ future orders. This presents an attractive option for many armed forces that are faced with limited budgets, a win-win situation. |
For the Manufacturer
Merex purchases and/or accepts consignment of OEM inventories. Our large warehousing capabilities and global customer base make Merex an ideal channel for the sale and/or consignment of excess inventories.
By consigning/selling excess material to Merex, our principals (manufacturers and armed forces alike) free up valuable space and manpower to be put to better use while maintaining the option to recall items as needed.
