Vehicle/Tank Upgrade Programs
Merex works closely with its customer technical and mission managers to provide a complete and customized system solution. Tracked Vehicle Overhaul/Conversion
This includes the upgrade and modernaization of combat tracked vehicles of U.S. origin. Upgrades include dieselization, armor/suspension improvement, hull/turret replacement, environmental control unit installations, and other required capabilities.

Logistic Support
This includes the design and manufacturing of a variety of components used on combat vehicles. The company benefits from extensive research and development programs of its affiliate companies that have resulted in new product improvements for a variety of items including generators, engine cooling systems and environmental control systems.

M113 Capabilities
The M113 Family of Vehicles, (FoV), introduced by the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war, has been modernized over the years to meet the user's operational power. Since its introduciton in 1960, over 80,000 M113's, and its derivatives, were put in service in 49 countries.

Armor Upgrade
Special Shaped Armor (SSA) technology is a superior solution for the M113 armor kit requriements. It provides the best overall combinatiion of protection, weight, availability and price.

Engine Dieselization
Merex, through its affiliate, has the capability to convert M113 Armored Personnel Carriers from the gasoline type to the dieselized M113A2 configuration in accordance with U.S. Army specifications.
